Weekly updates and upcoming calendar items on OTUS
I grew up in Spokane, Washington, then moved to Utah for college. Except for a year and a half spent in Montreal, Canada, and a few years back in Washington, I have lived in Utah ever since. I currently live in Payson, Utah where my husband and I raised our two children.
I originally graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in Sociology, and a minor in Psychology. After graduating, I spent five years managing programs for people with disabilities. While raising my children, I started working part-time as a reading tutor for the Nebo School District and worked at three different schools over nine years. It was during this time that I decided to get my teaching certificate. I started teaching at Noah Webster Academy in 2015 and have loved working for a school who puts student needs first.
In my spare time, I like to garden, read, run, quilt, and build things. I also like music, baking, and spending time with my family.
