Volunteer
We are so grateful for the many parents, grandparents and others who volunteer their support to our school and our scholars. We couldn't do it without you!
We love to keep track of the hours donated to the school through volunteer service. Please log hours using the form below. Please contact Mrs. Sorenson (hsorenson@mynwa.us) if you would like more details about any volunteer hours your family has logged.
Current Volunteer Needs & Opportunities
Field trips
3 to 4 chaperones are needed for each class on field trip days. If you are interested in attending, please contact your child's homeroom teacher.
Classroom Help
Please contact your scholar's homeroom teacher for ways you can help in the classroom. Classes also need help with one-on-one reading, bulletin boards, grading papers, cleaning, art projects, etc.
Attend a PO Meeting
Attendance counts as volunteer time and helps us support our scholars and teachers. We would love to have you join us!
Teacher Dinners
Provide dinner for teachers during Scholar Led Conferences.
Book Fair
Set up, staff, and take down the Book Fair.
Red Ribbon Week
Plan an assembly and activities to encourage scholars to stay drug free.
Stuff a Stocking
December
Teachers list of items need for voluntary classroom donations.
Imagine Arts
Scholars submit art and literature projects. PO coordinates judging and awards.
Teacher Appreciation
May
Door decorating, lunch for staff.
6th Grade Graduation
May
Provide refreshments for graduation.
